Are you sure this isn't confounded by riding into and out of dense or commercial areas?
- cameldrv 5y agoNo. I have personally seen two people next to each other get very different prices for the same trip though. IMO it's reasonably obvious that Uber is incorporating its estimate of willingness to pay in the moment to determine the price.
