I read the journal "Accidents in North American Mountaineering". I'm not a mountaineer much, but most of it applies to hiking. I don't read it to speculate on anything. I read it to learn from other peoples' mistakes. A family went hiking and ended up dead. They made a mistake. So if I go hiking again, how can I avoid that particular mistake?
