Rather it is whether the term "conspiracy theory" can be introduced into a conversation and terminate thinking.
- the_af 5y agoThe claim that calling something a conspiracy theory is always done in order to shut down inconvenient or provocative conversations is, itself, a thought terminating cliche. "Someone called my rant a conspiracy theory, therefore I'm on to something!"
- pessimizer 5y agoI'm sorry. Every time I hear the term, I forget what the conversation was about and can only think about how to destroy our enemies who are spreading counterproductive, unverifiable, unfalsifiable, anti-consensus rumors to suckers.
