I have built many cellular networks from the ground up in the early 90's, then I worked in R&D for cellular devices and today I do various cloud things. When I am not at work, I seldom carry a phone, nor even mess around with technology. (Other than the random hobbyist project I'll mess around with on the weekends every now and then). I find it fascinating when I am out and about, only to watch people living 18 inches in front of their nose, while there is a great big world of activity all around them, and they are not even aware.
