I strongly object to the terminology here. These people are not elite, they are good at gaming the current socioeconomic system and/or have some advantage gained by family relationships or proximity. They are not the smartest, or strongest, or any X adjective. If they are smart or strong, this is only somewhat correlated with their societal position.
