Digression: I'm always annoyed at seeing science fiction and fantasy genres lumped together. I know there is some cross-over with some books, but for those of us with strong preferences for one over the other it's always a pain to filter.
- simonblack 5y agoMy first thought too. fantasy is not science-fiction, and science-fiction is (pretty much) not fantasy. Admittedly, there are some authors like Ray Bradbury who have a foot in both camps, but my preference is (generally) for science-fiction over fantasy. Probably my favourite book is Arthur Clark's 'Rendezvous with Rama', though I felt the later 'Rama' books weren't anywhere near as good as the first in the series.
