Other peanuts can leave a bad aftertaste, actually a quite toxic one, known as Aflatoxin. A naturally occurring toxin that causes serious liver damage and is a known liver carcinogen.

- giantg2 5y agoMy whole point of posting this was to bring attention to the stupidity of this whole "add/subtract x minutes from your life". Thats not unique to peanuts. Many foods have this potential contamination. The process of making peanut butter actually destroys most of the aflotoxin anyways.
