Rick and Morty’s Thanksploitation Deciduous Decision Tree
- gowld 5y ago"Deciduous" is the same as graphviz?
- bsedlm 5y agoI chose to believe (but cannot be bothered to actually check) that yes, probably, but with nicer "packaging"
- nsajko 5y agoOff-topic, but another option for visualizing networks is Graphia. It's a qt5 program that can use the GPU to display pretty large graphs in 3D. https://github.com/graphia-app/graphia https://github.com/graphia-app/graphia https://graphia.app https://graphia.app
- 123pie123 5y agodoes this need a spoiler alert flag?
- sethammons 5y agoright above his graphic: > (warning: spoilers for the first ~8 minutes of the episode are ahead)
- 123pie123 5y agothanks - i didn't click on the link to check
- unixhero 5y agoMany of these episodes are brilliant!
- 123pie123 5y agothis episoide sounds like it could be similar to the "Heist-Con" episoide, which was realy good with messing with your head == fantastic
- rejectedandsad 5y agoHeist episode and Citadel of Ricks episode are my favorites. I quote the bit about getting a Netflix show (“it’s a very achievable goal”) quite often.
- King-Aaron 5y agoThis was the only episode lately that I thought was good... In the current season it feels like they're struggling for content.
- nabla9 5y agoHow is that diagram a decision tree? Decision tree should be a tree with decision, change and end nodes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decision_tree https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decision_tree
- anonymfus 5y agoNotice that at the top of the article you linked it says: > This article is about decision trees in decision analysis. For the use of the term in machine learning, see Decision tree learning. That does not mean that there are no other definitions in addition to these two, for example the one used in game theory is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_tree https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_tree > Any subtree that can be used to solve the game is known as a decision tree
- nabla9 5y agoThat's why I am asking. It's not even tree. It seems to be just a DAG without decisions. There is no clear or intuitive way to interpret this as decision tree in decision analysis, machine learning any other context.

- Slow_Hand 5y agoToo bad they had to edit out half of the explanations. Presumably to avoid copyright.
