- _nothing 5y agoThis question isn't necessarily directed to you but your comment made me wonder: How do other cam sites handle payments and what makes them different than OF?
- fragmede 5y agoThey use payment processors that specialize in adult content - who charge exorbitant fees for the privilege. Adult payment processors charge 15-20% vs the 2.9%+30¢ Stripe charges, and is nowhere near as nice to use.
- peepholeoptim 5y agoYes, and the South American and Eastern Europe sex slave cammers will follow them, like what happened with Chaturbate and CamSoda. OnlyFans didn't have to worry about this because nobody's going to subscribe to an account of three gay Colombianos half-heartedly diddling some poor girl, or an anorexic Russian getting anal for six hours straight. OnlyFans succeeded by not being part of that race to the bottom.
