Strong job market for an employee and low interest rate. I know people that were getting PhDs, because they started undergrad in the aftermath of the housing bubble and couldn't find jobs when finished. I also know people that decided to buy a house before the bubble and are still stuck underwater, preventing them to pursue opportunities not in their area. I also know people that went into medicine as tuition became ridiculous and have no way of servicing their student loans. I guess what I'm getting at is count your blessings. Others may not be as fortunate as you.
