I think the issue is because of people who care less about learning a topic deeply. Understanding why something works at all etc.
This might be the actual complaint of OP.

- fortuna86 5y agoOr maybe IQ is an arbitrary measure with no real meaning? Its greatest value seems to be insecure people using it to feel superior to others.
