Prediction Markets Meet Brainstorming
I am a strong believer in the Wisdom of the crowd, and I have been part of good Brainstorming sessions.
I can't but wonder why there is nothing that combines both.
Imagine - for the lack of better term - a social network where someone initiates a query and then everyone else brainstorms around it, pivoting, paralleling, deconstructing, constructive critics... the idea would then be refined and - along the way - additional germinal ideas generated.

You will need to put in some efforts to get people together though. Invite others to the server if you want.

- shoo 5y agoWhat would be the motivation for people to get involved? Can they compete for riches? Can they become famous (with respect to the niche of prediction-brainstorming) by topping some leaderboard? Do they receive fractional IP rights and royalty payments from generated ideas? Does it serve as a hiring pipeline for bureaucracies wanting analysts? Is it inherently fun?
