I remember a video we had to watch at my previous employer, explaining what insider trading is and discouraging it. Part of it had a testimony from a real guy from that company, who was caught on insider trading, was convicted with a jail time, and was very remorseful on the video, explaining how he ended up going that slippery path, and how awful the consequences are. Maybe he even got some time reduced by doing that video, don't know. But it definitely left a lasting impression...
