- hn_go_brrrrr 5y agoHappened to me too. Switch to desktop mode.
- whoooooo123 5y agoYes, I've noticed Twitter has started doing this in the last few days. I'd like to thank the bean counters at Twitter, because I'm not going to sign in, so this new feature means I'm going to spend a lot less time on Twitter.
- foresto 5y agoAny nitter instance can help with such things. Here's one: https://nitter.nixnet.services/joelburgess/status/1428008043556622336 https://nitter.nixnet.services/joelburgess/status/1428008043... P.S. Nitter also puts RSS links at the top of everyone's timeline, which is handy if you would rather use an RSS reader than a Twitter app.
- photon-torpedo 5y agoJust installed "Nitter Redirect" browser extension. Thank you, Twitter, for finally making me avoid your site entirely.
- bmn__ 5y agoCorresponding browser add-on: https://github.com/SimonBrazell/privacy-redirect https://github.com/SimonBrazell/privacy-redirect
- pcthrowaway 5y agoYou have to open it in a new tab. I can't click to expand threads or follow anything on twitter (it appears to start loading, then gives me the 'Sign up' prompt). But I follow a link in a new tab, it works fine
- belgesel 5y agoI believe it is their new rule. But it shows up only if you are using twitter for a while as logged out. Clear data from browser and it goes away, but will eventually show up again.

- usrusr 5y agoOpen in incognito tab to receive the preferential treatment new users get. Data-greedy product managers training is to starve them.
- Severian 5y agoIf on desktop, just block all cookies from Twitter.
