What makes you think that having a Twitter account or not is important? It seems like a version of western NIMBY for the online world. Once we realize that what is posted to Twitter (or not) has very little relevance to anything maybe we can focus on something real and important?

The Taliban is listed as a sanctioned terrorist organisation in the US and to comply, several companies like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat and even TikTok have already banned them, just like they have already banned ISIS for the same reasons and this is beyond their 'guidelines'. That just leaves Twitter who seems to find it difficult to ban a known terrorist organisation.
