The whole article is about how he volunteered info to Apple, and they didn’t give him anything. It’s the response of someone in a completely one-sided relationship. Now he is selling the info he has because he needs the money. This is guy is white-knight gone sour when the girl still refuses to date him after “all he has done for her”. Lesson is easy, do you want money from a company get something in writing before giving them anything.
