As long as the housing stock is what it is, most people need to drive in order to live.
We can and should transition towards walkable and transit-connected apartments, but the problem there isn't a lack of demand.
- lotsofpulp 5y agoThe housing stock is what it is because of low fossil fuel prices. Most families prefer detached single family homes with two car driveways and quarter acre lots, away from all the homeless and in the most exclusive school districts they can afford.
