Strange false narrative here since crypt adoption continues to happen in this country with all of the business ventures poping up around the concept. From a national security standpoint something that isn't controllable centrally is an existential threat to the status quo of systems that are in place. You can't just go to the CIA or congress and say well this is decentralized but the tech is good so you should back it. The only ones that will win here with crypto and moving the needle in a capitalistic society will be the businesses who embrace it and who lobby hard enough to replace entrenched systems. Just because you make an argument for a decentralized technology doesn't mean it's fits within a centralized system. You can say this stuff until you are blue in the face. No one even knows where Bitcoin originated (meaning from what country) let along who Satoshi Nakamoto actually is. Of course that will be concerning but the subsequent crypto systems that operate within the confines of the United States can be leveraged as long as there is centralized government control. Come at me about the fact that crypto is inherently decentralized and I will always say it won't be allowed without regulation and the government getting it's piece of the pie. Stop lying to yourself and to others that this isn't the case and start working towards projects that operate withing the constructs of the U.S. govt. Let alone most every other government that has any clout in the world. You're talking about a massive shift within systems that just aren't going to budge without a complete cultural revolution on how things should be run world wide.
