Biden fucked up in the execution - leaving equipment and (American) civilians on the ground as the soldiers left, being sure to load military dogs on the planes while Afghani's fell from the landing gear. It's not the move out of Afghanistan that people are appalled by, it's the manner in which it was done. Be at least as hard on Biden for this as you would if Trump was overseeing such a shitshow, even ignoring that Biden was supposed to be the wise, steady hand on the tiller. This was a reckless cock-up by any measure. If there was a worse way to get out of Afghanistan, I have trouble imagining it. Napalming the crowds on the way out, maybe?
- sharken 5y agoFrankly i don't expect much greatness from Biden. Back in March he responded to Texas lifting the mask mandate, by saying it was Neanderthal thinking.
