With higher temperatures come higher water concentrations, and I think more rainfall, it's just differently distributed in space and time. Also more volatile, which can be a detriment.
Many places are ill equipped to absorb heavy short bursts of rain (which seem more prevalent in my area), shunting the water into the rivers and oceans using down sloping ditches and canals, instead of holding and absorbing the water in horizontal features like pooling ponds, terraces or even just horizontal ditches. Loss of healthy topsoil doesn't do good either.
