Now wait for the mainstream media to jump on this.
- louhong 15y agoI think it has already started: http://travel.usatoday.com/destinations/dispatches/post/2011/07/airbnb-nightmare-apartment-trashed-safety-renters/178966/1 http://travel.usatoday.com/destinations/dispatches/post/2011...
- spazmaster 15y agoHere's one: http://www.businessinsider.com/airbnb-not-safe-the-renter-stolen-identity-and-destroyed-her-life-2011-7 http://www.businessinsider.com/airbnb-not-safe-the-renter-st... and it showed up on the first page when i searched for AirBnB on Google. And there's a Techcrunch post on the bottom of the first page as well.
- redthrowaway 15y agoThat's from a couple days ago. I somehow doubt future stories will paint airbnb in such a positive light.
- spazmaster 15y agoTrue it's from two days ago. But the title is 'AIRBNB HORROR' (yes in all caps). I wouldn't want that showing on a Google's first results page when googling my companies name.

- bambax 15y agoAs they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity. Many more people who have never heard of Airbnb, who can't imagine such a concept possible, will now know it exists.
- speckledjim 15y agoBS. They will know about it, and know that it carries large risks.
