California beach dunes once teemed with plants and birds
- peanut_worm 5y agoI found a beach here in Florida that is completely untouched. There is about a quarter mile of dunes covered in sea oats and fruiting cacti, filled with Common Ground Doves and Cardinals before you get to the water. I like to go birdwatching there. I have never seen anything like it since i’m used to the flattened city beaches.
