- felipelemos 5y ago365? Really?
- tomklein 5y agoThey got the british phone number prefix +44 as a trademark?
- artemisbot 5y agoThey have a playlist on Amazon Music called +44 for “the best” in British music (I beg to differ) but it seems that’s what the trademark covers[1]. - [1] https://uspto.report/TM/88838455 https://uspto.report/TM/88838455
- shapefrog 5y ago+44 Curated by Amazon's Music Experts No Beatles, no floyd, no spice girls.
- shapefrog 5y agoImagine if everytime you phone england (or added 44 to another number) you have to pay jeff for using their trademarked mathematical statement.
- relbeek2 5y agoX-Ray? How can that be trademarked by Amazon?
- Jxl180 5y agoTrademarks must be industry/use-specific. UPS has a trademark on their shade of brown. You can use that brown for your business, but you can’t use that colormark if you’re starting a competing logistics company. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of companies with an “X-Ray” trademark. You can use X-Ray as long as it’s not to represent your “computer software tool for use in browsing and exploring electronic publications and books.” Only Amazon has the right to name such a specific software functionality “X-Ray.”
