The colours used for https://www.severe-weather.eu/wp-content/gallery/world-weather/gulf-stream-collapse-atlantic-ocean-surface-salinity-map.png https://www.severe-weather.eu/wp-content/gallery/world-weath... are very poor. Apart from the known issues of using hue like this to represent values, both the top and bottom ends of the scale are purple.
