- techdragon 5y agoOne of the most powerful countries in the world has “black sites” around the world and uses them to hold otherwise inconvenient prisoners… my goodness! How shocking! Oh wait… no shocking isn’t the word, I meant obvious. /sarcasm
- whythre 5y agoAnytime anyone expresses a thought critical of China, it inevitably provokes whataboutisms. It’s not a particularly compelling argument, about on the level of a guilty chid complaining about other kids not getting punished. I think a proper response should be ‘black sites are bad,’ not ‘well, others did it so have a carte blanche to do it, too.’
