I know this because I was willing to suffer for 3 straight months learning something I had failed at multiple times in the past just so I didn’t have to write in JavaScript. Or, one could just swallow ones pride, learn TypeScript, and have the benefit of working in a sane language that transpiles effortlessly into Javascript. (Not a bad word about Javascript wizards or its inventor. Given the constraints the results are nothing but amazing. I just wish we didn't have to suffer an untyped language for so long before someone came up with the obvious solution that is TypeScript.)
