I find the documentation to be missing a short overview of the architecture or the conceptual model. It only has step-by-step instructions, and it's not entirely clear what really happens underneath each command. I can guess it is building docker images and sending them to the VM but i'm not really sure if and when that happens. Looks convenient otherwise.
