  That could be an option too. ... Or you decided to just make that random factoid up, or you read it from somewhere that just made it up, for the same reason as I mentioned before? I'm going to just go with that as the most likely explanation.

      Crap, I forgot I need to translate my actual thoughts into HN appropriate jargon like, "That number seems implausibly high. I suspect some bias; do you have a source for that? I'd check to make sure the site you got that info from isn't promoting an agenda." Better?
