So, in other words, he’s simply repeating back what his parents raised him with. No dig on him, he’s only a kid and that’s normal, but it makes sense he would find what he wants in whatever data he dug up. I see these articles that try to make it seem like there’s some groundswell of people refusing the vaccine (such as using the stock photo of a giant room full of young people) when the reality is that they are largely fringe thinkers. There are a fair number of people who are frightened by it from articles like this, but I don’t personally count them among the hardcore anti-vaccine people interviewed in this article.
