Cassettagram: Send loved ones an audio greeting on a cassette tape for the vintage vibe. One of my worse 'startup' ideas (none of which have I ever acted upon).

- brewdad 5y agoLove the idea actually but the finding a customer base would be a bear. Might as well offer video messaging on Betamax to round out the market. :-)
- jacquesm 5y agoLaserdisc. Good luck finding a (working) player. And for an encore, 2" AMPEX :) That might be a bit costly with shipping.
- quercusa 5y agoI've got a top of the line Pioneer LD player (with the head that moves around the disc so you don't have to flip it) with less than 20 hours on it. I've got no use for it but just can't bear to toss it.
- curation 5y agoI have a friend who owns a giant database of retro vhs video and he has and enjoys the laserdisc. I saw the original Alien on laserdisc - we rented the machine and disc for $7. As a child I was guilty of using it as a dance floor for my barbie dolls. http://www.retrovideo.com/ http://www.retrovideo.com/
