When I was looking for a phone (and ended up buying the 3310) I was eyeing the KaiOS Nokias as well. From what i could gather then the KaiOS software was kinda hit or miss. Some reviewer where complaining about crashes and such. There seemed to be several different hardware and software revisions going out under the same model names. Maybe carrier was a factor too. To be fair, in retrospect it has become clear that that was true for the 3310 as well. Noone I have talked to seems to have exactly the same sw/hw versions as I have. The price is a factor for me as well (yes, I'm a pennypincher). The 3310 is about half the price of any KaiOS phone.
