- usr1106 5y agoTechnically it won't stop them. But have they been caught for it? I hope lack/price of skills will stop them. Windows programming is cheap compared to UEFI programming. As long as they can address >90% of their spying "needs" by Windows I hope they stick to that. It's all about trust. But whom should I trust? I don't trust Intel for their ME, their Meltdown and whatever. But still I have to use them in real life.
