Three-month-olds born during the pandemic now score around 80 on IQ tests
- h2odragon 5y agoAnyone taking an "IQ test" on a toddler seriously deserves all the mockery they get and then some. I've only raised one human; but lots of puppies; and there's no telling what kind of critter they'll turn out to be until well after they "chewing on everything" stage. And they're talking tests on people younger than that, still. Utter Horse Shit.
- bradknowles 5y agoAll the IQ tests I know of are always taken relative to others of the same age. So, if you score higher than 100, it might just be that you’re a little advanced for your age, and under 100 might mean you’re a little behind for your age. But early developmental testing is important to find learning deficiencies and to try to help correct for them as soon as possible.
- chmaynard 5y agoMakes sense. Only people with below-average intelligence would conceive a child during a pandemic. (just kidding)
