It worked for me, but it’s easy to imagine why it wouldn’t on another device. The text is made to very slowly render in line-by-line as you scroll. If you scroll quickly, it’s very easy to get way ahead of the rendering. Maybe it’s trying to prevent skimming the article or skipping to the end? Anyway, the page was riddled with affectations like that, and all the affectations seem like they’re designed to make you feel both uncomfortable and fascinated, like when find a dead animal covered with maggots…obviously the article fits that aesthetic as well.
