- oumua_don17 5y agoThis is assuming that TSMC is naive and gullible enough to strike an agreement with a temporary customer who is more a competitor that results in destroying relationship with long term trusted customers. As another commenter pointed out it is more for Aurora and is a limited quantity order. And IIRC from articles posted online this super computer GPU samples were fabbed in Intel’s fabs. So I would expect more delays given Intel has to redesign for TSMC flows.
- dev_tty01 5y agoNo, I don't think so. The headline is "all remaining" production. No doubt Apple already has what they want. Probably AMD too. Apple is a longtime huge customer. Intel has to get in the back of the line.
