I read a lot, and often read some long stories from the NYT or similar, and they'll do these great detailed stories on child abuse/etc., and my one memory of those types of articles seems to be that... The various agencies/programs doing really good work just need more money. Ideally a lot more money. But I haven't paid attention in forever, so there are prob lots of good solutions that don't require us to be dominated even more by our corporate overlords.
