Australia is becoming a police state
- codeecan 5y agoIts a little late if people are noticing that now, last year a woman was arrested for posting about an anti-lockdown protest on Facebook[1]. I don't know the Australian laws, but many countries have been hiding behind covid to push authoritarianism. Cheering vaccination passports and mandatory vaccines, I wonder when the public realizes the mistake they made in giving the government so much power. - simonblack 5y agoNot 'becoming'. 'IS' and has been, long since. If you're not part of the Establishment's 'circle-jerk', you literally are a non-person. Both of the traditional parties are included in the Establishment: in other words, both sides of the same coin. It's been like that since about 1983.
