One thing I really like about Australia is the Local Post Office vs GPO system. Being able to walk 15min max and get your packages that weren’t able to be delivered to your door is very convenient. From what I understand the LPOs are kind of a franchise that people own which extends the reach of the postal system. The USPS on the other hand is hamstrung half a million ways _and_ are expected to deliver packages to the middle of nowhere. Something similar to LPOs and Amazon cubbies would be an amazing improvement on things. Also we need to keep private interests out of parks, there are so few of them as it is already.
