I feel lucky to hear these stories and "hang out" with these engineers, even if I can't personally get access to what they're discussing. I think it's absolutely awful that you and others in this thread are actively discouraging this kind of wonderful discussion. I think you are going against the hacker ethos and the Hacker News ethos.
