Show HN: Chrome Extension to link to other search engines from Google CAPTCHA's
- turblety 5y agoI have my default search engine set to DuckDuckGo, but sometimes when I'm in a rush, I'll just try and go straight to Google, using the hash bang. I frequently get CAPTCHA's on Google, and as I refuse to solve them, it means I have to retype in my search query. This extension puts links to some better search engines at the top of the Google CAPTCHA page.
- nathan_phoenix 5y agoDoes it maybe also work for Firefox?
- turblety 5y agoHey. It should work in any browser that supports that Web Extensions API. But yeah it works in Firefox. I've just tested it. The instructions start off the same, but the FireFox config page is `about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox`
- nathan_phoenix 5y agoNice, thanks!
