A lawyer put forth a theory that he knew to be a lie. I’m not surprised by this, maybe deep down I’ve always assumed that defense attorneys lie, and it’s sort of their job to create doubt anyway they legally can. After all the police can lie to a suspect, prosecutors can lie to jurors, why not defense attorneys?
