What worries me most is that hackers and others with ulterior motives, will engineer a situation creating a false positive, or worse. If you want to absolutely destroy someone, accuse them of possessing pornographic material of children. Even if it turns out to be absolutely false, the stain is still there, the bell cannot be unrung. Damage both in the short and long-term to reputations, careers, the lives, will be devastating. None of us are safe from this. “yeah but there was that one time Apple thought she had kid porn on her phone.. she said it was a false positive, police investigated never prosecuted etc., but…better to not hire, etc..you know..just in case”
