Delta seems very contagious amongst the Astra Zeneca vaccinated. Those viral loads seem pretty darn high for vaccinated people.
Vaccine entry mandates don't seem to make as much sense as masks for everyone who hasn't gotten it yet, vaccines for those who want them, and COVID cards for those who have caught the virus. The people who recovered seem to be the most resistant to new strains. They don't need masks.
Masks the whole time in planes. Masks for small children too. N95 or KN95 or triple layer cloth.
Outdoor dining ok if all four sides are open else shut it down.
That seems to be what the science says if you want to maximize saved lives? Figuring out best course seems much harder with economic and social costs.
- babesh 5y agoPrediction. Tech companies are going to delay openings again or workers will remain masked for months. Former is more likely. My reasoning. They will realize that either those people are going to be masked all day or they are going to have mass Delta outbreaks amongst the vaccinated.
