Once you develop your app for the unofficial store, getting it into the official one would be like certifying a Mad Max vehicle at the Californian DMV. but also not being able to be found by default at all, until your potential users download some other app store. I think android is a good example showing that most people probably will not bother to do that, and apple still has a large advantage, it just evens the playing field a little
