A more apt comparison is $0 for Bitwarden vs $4.99 for 1Password. Most people don't need the 'extra' functionality.

- rootusrootus 5y agoThat comparison would be $2.99 for 1Password. It is the family plan that costs $4.99, and Bitwarden's family plan is not $0. It also assumes you don't want the features in the paid version of Bitwarden, so it's not an apples-to-apples comparison. 1Password doesn't offer a free reduced-feature version, true.
- antiframe 5y agoThat's fair. My point was that Bitwarden handles a good number of people's requirements in their free tier. 1Password is not free for anyone.
