Can anyone recommend resources on understanding the inner workings and abstractions of reactive/declarative application models, such as Flutter and Vue? It seems to be the latest rage (see Google adopting it for native Android development with Jetpack Compose) and I've been thinking about this lately, but all resources I can find explain how to use it, but not the building blocks of the system underneath.

The main difference between React and other frameworks is how they detect state changes. React uses a function (like setState), Vue uses proxies, Angular uses Rx observables, etc.
