I’m sorry to say, but its not ever going be eradicated, especially with vaccines that don’t stop you getting the virus, or transmitting it.

- uncoder0 5y agoIn addition to that this can't go the way of smallpox because covid has animal reservoirs. Smallpox did not so we could eliminate it. Vaccine or no, we've known since the beginning that eradicating this virus was nigh impossible.
