Copilot Copies Text Verbatim
- m_kos 5y agoI was testing Copilot this night. It suggested a simple snippet, which made me a bit suspicious, so I looked it up on GitHub. The snippet (after "data_folder ="): data_folder = "C:/Users/robsc/Documents/NC State/GRAWork/CIData/Output318/" Search results: https://github.com/search?q=%22C%3A%2FUsers%2Frobsc%2FDocuments%2FNC+State%2FGRAWork%2FCIData%2FOutput318%2F%22&type=code https://github.com/search?q=%22C%3A%2FUsers%2Frobsc%2FDocume... Although the found code comes from a public repo and is not at all groundbreaking, it does feel a bit creepy for reasons I can't yet articulate.
