Well, eventually you might be even able to fixup the sun itself into a more favorable configuration for us with some solar lifting. If you are crazy enough, you might even dismantle the sun outright and store the material as (predominantly) huge hydrogen icebergs you can burn in nice efficient fusion plants for the rest of eternity. Much more efficient! :) Still much more difficult proposition that turning a terrestrial planet into an orbital swarm.
