Looks like a novel way to share content to me. Usability can be improved but I feel you have nailed the UI/UX for a MVP. Features can be added but you need to launch quickly rather than cook it for too long without exposing to the real world. I love how you can create "stories" - a series of posts - pinning them to certain locations. It's an interesting way of creating a certain narrative for a road trip for example.
Congrats and great work!
- patrianova 5y agoThanks! Indeed, that's the spirit, launching it as quick as possible to gather feedback. The idea of agglutinating bits into a narrative, itinerary type of thing is surely on the radar but I'd love to hear from the community (like you) if this is really a path worth exploring. I like the secret aspect of dropping something at a place that can only be retrieved at the same location. Enough of scrolling to endless timelines on our couches. Thanks for the feedback!
- aconsult1 5y agoI wish other social networks could offer different views on their feed. Imagine being able to navigate Facebook by location or maybe by your friends network graph. I liked when feeds used to be predictable and time based but I guess the money was too good to pass so they took over control of what you see and when. It's refreshing to see some apps trying to innovate on that front.
- patrianova 5y agoThat's precisely what we are trying to do. The simple idea of leaving our couches to go and discover the world around us is a plus. Instead of a social netowork, we prefer to think LifeBits is an app to discover the world and it has a social aspect to it so you can benefit from the knowledge of others while at a given place. Thanks for your perspective and comment.
